Cumberland and York County CCC Candidate Forums this week

Conservative Christian Center Co-sponsors Candidate Events Tues. Oct. 15 in Cumberland with 9/12 Project and ACTION, Sat. Oct. 19 Breakfast in York with ACTION

Cumberland County

Conservative Christian Center is once again co-sponsoring a Candidate Forum with Cumberland 9/12 Project (Brett Crans, President) and Cumberland County Action on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.  Candidates from all political parties are invited to speak and set up their own literature table to “meet and greet” voters before and after the event.  It will be held at Carlisle Fire and Rescue, 177 Carlisle Spring Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. 

There will be a Candidate Survey and a straw poll vote at the end of the evening organized by Conservative Christian Center.  This is the fourth event with this group of co-sponsors.  Additional volunteers are needed to help, please write to event coordinator Ross Cleveland at southcentralPA@ConservativeChristianCenter.org.

York County

York County Conservative Christian Center and York County Action will hold their annual, general election Candidate Forum this Saturday, October 19 at the Country Club of York.  Rep. Kate Klunk has been nominated as this year’s Statesman of the Year, to join past award winners, Congressman Scott Perry, State Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill, State Representatives Seth Grove and Will Tallman and York County Commissioner Chris Reilly.

Candidates for statewide and local office including Court of Common Pleas have all been invited to attend, participate in the “meet and greet” before and after breakfast and have their own literature table.  The new “Value Voters Guide” with the candidates answers to CCC Survey Questions and their rating “A” down to “C” (or “D” for “did not respond) will be available in bulk.

For the first time, many of the GOP “Super Voters” have been invited to attend, with the first 50 attendees being offered free or very low priced ($10) breakfast tickets.
