Conservative Christian Center names first non-politician as its favorite Stateman of 2019, to deliver an inspirational acceptance speech at Saturday Brkfst
Nationally acclaimed Christian motivational speaker and author Michael Anthony will accept the 2019 Statesman of the Year Award of the Conservative Christian Center and deliver remarks this Saturday, October 19 at the annual Statesman of the Year and Candidate Forum at the County Club of York, 1400 County Club Road, York PA. A limited number of free tickets are still available online along with discounted $10 tickets and regular price $30 tickets ($55 for a couple; scroll down for the eventbrite Registration link).
CCC leaders told Michael Anthony that they consider him to be prescient in writing a book several years ago to share with Christians how they can use power, truth and love to overcome the problems of “an age of intolerance and fear” as his book cover for A Call for Courage, proclaims.
Anthony has agreed to make a return appearance to speak for up to one hour in January at a free appearance that can be more properly advertised but his remarks this Saturday will be a very good taste of the full meal to come.
CCC leaders first met Michael Anthony at his literature booth at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference three years ago and have wanted to have him speak at one of our meetings ever since. Last year CCC Adviser and Chairman Emeritus Dr. Ken Gibson, President of the Keystone Bible Institute, highly recommended him and was surprised to learn that leadership already had his book and already wanted him as a speaker.
Michael Anthony comes highly acclaimed. Look at some of the praise his book, A Call for Courage, has earned.
What They ’re Saying about Michael Anthony
“If
you’re only going to read one book this year, read A Call for Courage.
– Keith R. Krell, PhD, DMin, Professor of Biblical Exposition, Moody Bible
Institute
“A Call for Courage is the book we have all
been waiting for. It’s timely,
prophetic, and yet very practical. Do
you want to live with power, truth and love in these increasingly difficult
times? Then get this book and apply what
you’ll learn to your life!”
– Joel Richardson, New York Times bestselling author, speaker and filmmaker:
And perhaps the best explanation of why Michael Anthony was chosen as the 2019 Statesman of the Year of the Conservative Christian Center, is this one:
“A
clear and urgent call… about the state of our nation and world – and why now is
the time to step up! This book is informative,
thought provoking, and will help you banish fear, replace it with courage, and
engage!”
– Gary Frazier, PhD, founder and President, Discovery Mission International
“Michael
Anthony’s book could very well be a pamphlet for the Conservative Christian
Center with its clarion call for Christians to refuse to let those who don’t
like us, force us, as he puts it, to sit down and shut up. Michael calls us to stand up and speak
out. My husband and I are re-reading his
book again right now and when we see him at the breakfast this Saturday morning
will buy several more copies to give away as gifts. We hope all church-going, value voters will read
this book and be inspired as we are.”
– Emy Delgaudio, Chairman, York Chapter of Conservative Christian Center
